Purpose
The Cadet program offers training for the U7, U8, U9 or U10 player looking to take their game to the next level. The program provides MS Rush coaches and age specific curriculums that are focused on the developing and building upon the fundamentals of the game in order to prepare players for D1 competition.
OverviewParticipants will initially take part in 4 tryout sessions, that will serve as practices for the players, and enable the coaches to evaluate each player technically, tactically, physically and mentally. After the completion of the tryout sessions players will be placed onto either a tournament or practice team. At this point, players will practice with their team and coach once a week and play several scrimmages. The tournament team will compete in a couple of local tournaments against other clubs in the area.
Cadet training is led by a professional coaching staff and provides a training environment a step above the recreational level. The program is designed to serve as link between recreational soccer and Mississippi Rush.
